My new office
I am writing this from my new office :D I initially wanted to move into a living space that had three bedrooms, but, instead, I made my guest room into an office. Granted, I still have a twin bed in here (with lots of pillows–perfect for doing book research!), but I also have a large wall space for my desk and printer table, and plenty of room to feel comfortable. I’m no longer squished into a small corner of a bedroom and I have my own space. It feels great!
I also organized my entire bookcase in my office, putting all of my writing books on the top shelf where they are easily accessible. I do feel like a true professional now! I always was, but my cramped working space was hard for me to work in.
I made a correction on my last post: Becoming a Writer was first published in 1934, not 1981 which is what I put in my original post. 1981 is the date of the latest edition, the edition I have. It was an honest mistake, but I corrected it. I’m impressed with the book so far! When I read it, I feel more motivated to write and appreciative of being a writer. It really is great to be a writer!
I’m not sure what my next reading investment will be. I’m thinking of looking into ebooks. I like the format of ebooks and they are cheaper than paperbacks.
So, I’m content, for now, in my new office. Someday, when my career progresses more, I’ll think about moving into a bigger living space. But right now, I’m happy with what I have.
